Testimonials

Hi Nancy,

Just wanted to let you know how well the nurse mare is working out for the orphaned Palomino Appaloosa filly that was born at our barn.  That is the sweetest, gentlest, most laid-back mare!  The two together make a wonderful momma and baby...an absolutely seamless transition.  It has been such a blessing that you all provide this service in such a timely manner.  It has made all the difference in the health of this filly.  You have done such a wonderful job of training this mare...I just can't say enough about her kind and caring manner towards this foal.  She always perks up when I enter the barn and begs for a flake of hay, which I always give to her....she is a joy to have here.  I know that the filly's owners, Kent and Donna Tucker, are so appreciative as well.

Thanks again for coming down in the snowy weather to deliver "Little Dollar Sign".  We are taking very good care of her while she is here and will miss her when she and the filly go home to the Tucker's barn.

Sincerely,

Dr. Tony and Lory Ellis

This is the baby that was "raised" by your mare that we leased.  (He won the Fifth running of the Governors Cup in New Mexico on Oct. 25, 2009)  Your horse was a sweetheart & we still talk about her!

Thank you so much for your program!!

He (Lydia's Last Step) ran 2nd in the Groovy Stakes at Sam Houston, Dec 5, 09 (Houston, TX), and he ran 2nd in the Riley Allison Futurity at Sunland Park, New Mexico on Dec 29, 09.  He is scheduled to run in the Borderland Derby on Feb 27, 10 at Sunland Park, NM.  We couldn't be more proud of him!!!  We'll keep you posted.

Thanks again,

Happy New Year,

Rose & Wendell Chandler, and Lydia's Last Step

Good Morning,

Hope you had a safe trip home. Shadow is a true blessing. She has bonded with the filly and they are doing great.  Tomorrow we will move them up to the big paddock and the next day out on the wheat pasture. She is sooooo attentive to the filly.

I am spoiling Shadow rotten. She is getting Apple wafers when I go out there and she reminds me if I forget. We can never thank you enough for all your hard work. Hope you have a great day!!!  Thanks again.
